Hey Daniel,

I've had the same feeling lurking on this newsgroup for a while.  Best
explanation that I can come up with is that the Apple ][ community was
solid, then traumitized by the death of commercial support, Apple's and
otherwise.  Some times grief takes a long time (generations in computer
years).  At any rate, I am back to interst in it.  I have an unenhanced
][e, a first gen ][c, and a 64k ][+ that were collecting dust for a
while.  THey all seem to be functioning now.  However, several of the
old floppies are DEAD.  I'm not sure there's an easy way to archive
these things.  Early copy protection schemes don't help either.

Anyway, best of luck.  maybe we can generate some other threads for new
projects.
