useful program, for example SnowTerm.

No. Like all graphics-based programs, they will be
a little slower than their text-based counterparts
(Guess why some gs users still use Appleworks 8-bit?).

Yes, it's 8-bit. A good gs telecommunications program
is Spectrum from SevenHills, a graphics-based one.
