Re: IIe sound problem



The speaker might be bad, or perhaps the chip that drives the speaker is
blown.  What are you doing to make sound?  You mean that it doesn't beep on
power-up, or anything?

The RamWorks came with several different configurations, but the most
commonly found ones were 515K and 1MB.  They sold a daughterboard that
could accommodate up to 2MB for an onboard total of 3MB.  I've never heard
of anyone having a daughterboard with anything but 2MB on it, though.  FWIW
I have the 3MB setup in my IIe and LOVE IT.
