Apple File Exchange is an obsolete program. Mac System 7.5 includes the
Control Panel called PC Exchange, which allows the Mac to read/write both
ProDOS and MS-DOS disks in native mode. The older Extension called ProDOS
File Exchange does the same thing that PC Exchange does (except it doesn't
support MS-DOS).

Anyway... if you have PC Exchange, and you then try to run Apple File
Exchange, you will get only the Mac to Mac option, because ProDOS disks
are considered "Mac" disks by AFE (because ProDOS disks can be read
directly by the MacOS).

So throw away AFE. It's way too slow, anyway.
