External clock on a //c

Thanks to everyone who has posted and/or e-mailed me suggestions!

I went home and took apart the clock.  On the circuit board is 
printed:

System Clock Rev 1
Creative Perpheals Unlimited Inc
(c) 1985

So I guess I'm looking for a "driver" from them.  

On another note, the clock is made up of 6 IC chips, I thought 
I'd see one of those clock crystals, but alas there was none!
