While the latter is an issue (the proxy sees all content, and then may
re-encrypt it,) I highly doubt that sensitive information will be
handled on an Apple II. And, if you own the proxy, problem solved.

But, the former was part of my argument to use Opera Mini's proxies.
Opera's keeping those running indefinitely, they're being maintained
to keep a widely-used, profitable product (Opera gets paid for
including various links and search engines) up to date, and they do
exactly what we need - reformatting for a simpler device.
