(Note: I don't get comp.sys.apple2.programmer, so I'm missing out on a lot of this discussion. Bear with me if I'm retracing someone else's steps, please.) There is a collection of people here who apparently agree that the easiest way to handle the networking is to use a serial-port network in which the ][e's become terminals to a UNIX (LINUX) box of some sort.
