Well, first and foremost this is an area for the Apple II line of
computers.  Not the macintosh.  But, to answer your question.  The
macintosh doesn't like having two system folders to look at.  If you
have a zip drive you can put a system folder on that disk and boot from
that.  I still run system 7.1.2 from a zip disk on occasion to run disk
first aid and Norton's disk doctor.  Hope this helps some.

By the way, what is the exact problem?  Please reply via email so as not
to burden CSA2.
