Yes, the low priced spread does look a little better than the Ambery.
Also, the Ambery is displaying a different pattern below that open
window on the Desktop picture. All three products have a hard time
with the dithered Desktop pattern, though.
All things considered, I'll be happy to use what I bought until
something tremendously better comes along (that I can afford).
Now I need to find an enclosure to put this board in. Maybe a cheap
Tupperware-style container?
To anyone considering buying this board - the two settings that make
the most difference are Horizontal Position (on the board) and Pixel
Clock (on the LCD). You'll never get things perfect, but a slight
shift in either or both of these settings will get you a decent
compromise image.
