As with most computer questions, it depends. Depends mostly on how much money you
want to spend (on hareware, software, installation fees, consulting fees, etc.).
You might try contacting:

  Tribe Computer Works
  2020 Challenger Dr.
  Alameda, CA 94501
  800-778-7423
  www.tribe.com

They have a combination patch panel, router, and hub for about $1,600 that might
fix you up (if I understanmd your question and situation right). There may be
other, less expensive, solutions out there also.

I'm interested in how you connect your Apples to the LocalTalk network? And how it
works. (See comp.sys.apple2.p[rogrammer: Apple II E-mail (...).)

PS. In case you're wondering, I don't own any shares in Tribe! Actually, I work
for a school system and we just returned unopened the vary equipment I'm
recommending you check into. We just decided to go a different route--to use a
Pentium NT server w/ a LocalTalk card (all experimental right now). I've heard and
read good things about Tribe (although other folks might have other things to say).
