I'm not sure exactly what you're describing, but I don't think this
board does it. A more detailed description of the symptom might help.

When running a ProDOS app from the desktop, the screen switches to 40
column mode with the blue background I set in Control Panel. No black
screen as it switches. On exit from the ProDOS app, the screen very
briefly goes black before the desktop reappears. I'd have to hook up
the IIgs CRT to check, but I think it always did that.
