    Speaking of bugs in Wings of Fury (or perhaps it was an easter-egg?)
long ago, I discovered you could trick the game into thinking you had
infinite lives. All it involves is crashing your last plane onto the deck 
of a sinking enemy ship at the right moment (that moment being just when 
the white bar with scrolling message appears). 

    The counter will say '0' lives left and tell you "Game Over" but 
once the plane on deck hits the water and sinks with the ship, it'll try 
deducting yet another life. Of course you have none left, so it counts 
negatively, thus in turn pushing your number of planes to an unlimited 
total. It's interesting to see your carrier with nine reserved planes 
on deck. ;) (the maximum number of lives, but you'll have more).
