Ok - I finally got it right with the help of Nathan, Greg, and everyone
else who responded to my first unsuccessful posts in comp.binaries.apple2.

But now it works!! As directed by Greg, the file was converted to B&W, GIF
format, and now is only about 6K!!

I have reposted it in comp.binaries.apple2 using YANewsWatcher instead of
Netscape (YANewsWatcher RULES!!)
