Apple IIgs

My GS has served me very well for 7 years, everyone else had Macs and
(shudder!) IBMs, but I stayed faithful to my GS because it was all I
needed.  This is my first year in college, so I had to buy a new
computer, and I got a Mac which is exactly like my GS's finder.  Anyhow,
my family is still using the GS at home, but something has gone amiss. 
When they plugged it in and turned the machine on, absolutely nothing
happened.  No lit Apple slash on the CPU, no noise, no nothing.  It's
simply as if no power is getting to the machine.  I suspect that the
either the power supply went, or some fuse that I don't know about has
blown.

Is there anyone who knows what I might do about this problem??
