   Nope. The 6502 socket on the motherboard on an Apple II is locked
to 1Mhz; a new 6502 won't run any faster. [All memory accesses are at
1Mhz, etc] The Zip includes its own oscillator onboard to let it run
faster, but has an interface to work with the 1Mhz bus speed.
