Steve (are you the one with the problems)? Can you SEE the HD if you boot your
system disk from the floppy drive? If so, then there are probably system
problems. I know this may sound patronizing...but I've done it too. Did you,
when you reinstalled your system software, make sure that the 'disk to update'
(upper left hand corner) said the name of your boot drive? Trust me, I"ve made
that mistake more than once :) I doubt you have hardware problems, bbut I
suppose it's
possible. Boot your system disk from floppy and see if you can see your HD
icons. Also, boot the AHS utility disk and use it's checks to make sure that
it recognizes a scsi device online. Thirdly, shift-boot.
There could be an init/da in there that's messing up the works.
