   First off, you could have picked a much better newsgroup to post
this question in. Comp.sys.apple2.marketplace, where you posted, is
for buying and selling Apple II related hardware, software, etc. For
general questions, comp.sys.apple2 is the preferred location.

   To answer your question: yes, a GS will run most (>99% unless
you've got a penchant for the extremely oddball copy-protected or
cracked crud) to all //e software.
