I have a USR Sportster (33.6) which I also share between a IIgs and a
IBM-type PC.  I have only been able to connect to my ISP at 28.8. 
When doing what I call text dumps on the IIgs (say using the command
'cat somefile') it will start to lose characters at anything over
24000.  Even at 24000 I have lost a header or two in a 2 meg dump.  I
do not do a lot of large file downloading but I have not seen any
problems there when connected at 28.8 (get about 3100-3400 cps).
