Or, better yet, today in my Chemistry Class (inorganic chemistry) we
learned that "HOMO" stands for "Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital". So,
"HOMO" means only this, and nothing more. 

(Apologies to those who are not chemists or chemistry majors)
