My laptop is my primary mail/web/news computer so when I travel,
everything (but the backup) comes with me.
My desktops are primarily used for gaming or stuff involving lots of HD
space. Things I tend to not do while traveling.

I started out with a docking laptop. A Powerbook Duo 230 with dock. It
was a great setup. Slide the laptop into what was basically a desktop
computer without the processor and away you'd go. I miss that setup.
