Golly thanks, Sam. Actually, I'm such a simple guy that I see things simply.
Violation of a copyright is illegal.
It doesn't matter is the copyright holder knows of the violation or not.
It doesn't matter whether the world has attached great economic value to
the item in question or not. It doesn't matter if the violation is
"harmful" to anyone or not.
The law doesn't permit it. It's wrong.
That's so simple you might need to read it several times to get the point.
I use computers every day. I've written software for my work (biomedical
science) and for pleasure, for the Apple II, IIgs and Mac. I'm no where
near the programmer that many on this forum are. I can't write a lick of
assembly code.
But the software I've written is copyrighted. I expect others to respect
that. And in turn, I respect the rights of others.
Respect, Sam. It's no surprise you have no respect for copyrights, since
you have no respect for those who disagree with you.
