That would be a workstation card. You put it in an enhanced //e and you get
a localtalk port and a serial printer port. Plug in a localtalk box and 
connect it to your network and you're there.

The last Shreve Systems Apple II catalog I saw had 'em, but $99 a pop. At the
local dealer's last "garage sale" they were selling still-shrinkwrapped cards
for $20. Just depends on your luck and places to look. Anyhow, you can give
Shreve a try at 800-227-3971.

No dice on the //c but the //e's can use this setup if you scare up enough
workstation cards. Booting from the server will mean getting Appleshare file
server, fairly big $. But having the //e's share files only takes system 7's
file sharing. Since a Mac Plus with 4 mb is $60ish now, the server approach
is a lot more cost effective than trying to equip the IIs with hard disks or
3.5 floppies, and hardware to switch printers between computers.
