Appleshare has its own FST. The actual dirty job of storing files
on a remote Appleshare volume is the business of the computer with
that drive on it. Therefore, the Appleshare FST should be as stable
as the remote computer.

It has a chance of corrupting them if you write to them. Basically,
the currently distributed patch's documentation says that it fixes
access to volumes >=96MB. Unfortunately, my GS's 79MB HFS partition
has been blasted a few times. Thus, it's my gut feeling that there are
more bugs. No conclusive proof of that yet.
