Logitech Mouse question

This is a quick question: Has anybody tried the ADB version of
Logitech's MouseMan Remote? The situation I'm in this year with
desk space in the dorm has my mouse cord in an impossible tangle.
Any comments or suggestions of alternative solutions are welcome.
