METAL-16

I'll be starting on the front end of the METAL-16 Compiler sometime
in the next coupla weeks, so now would be a good time to ask for any
hopes/dreams of new internal functions for METAL.

Also, don't hold your breath for the system.  It will be as delayed
in release as GS/TCP (Feb '96???).

I suspect it will run like Java under Unix, i.e. METAL under GNO.  It
depends on whether I feel like writing a whole new OS (not likely!)
or depending on an existing OS.
