Connect GS to PC??

Hello!

Has anybody yet tried to connect a PC to a GS?
I am looking for a method to connect, say the GS communications
port to the PC serial or LPT1 port and then exchange data between
the two computers via terminal programs.

Also, does anyone know if there is software on the PC that lets
you read SCSI hard drives formatted on the GS?
