Maybe everyone already knows about this program, but I just stumbled
across it.

For those who wish CiderPress worked on a Mac or Linux, it looks like
Apple Commander will fill the bill. I haven't tested the program much
on Windows, but both the JAR and the older compiled version run on 64-
bit Windows 7 just fine.
The reason I stumbled upon this program is that I am trying to copy a
downloaded CP/M executable from my PC to an Apple CP/M floppy image.
CiderPress can open and display the disk image, but won't let me copy
a file onto it. From reading the description of Apple Commander on the
web page, I thought that it would do the job. It doesn't. Same problem
- you can export a file from the CP/M disk image, but you can't import
a file. Frustrating to say the least.
In any event, Apple Commander looks to be a potentially useful program
despite not doing what I currently need to do.
