Actually, Pointless doesn't work with any of the Apple Brand Laser
printers. It requires a "Direct Connect" printer.
As you probably know, Shareware Solutions II now distributes the entire
NAUG (National AppleWorks User Group) resource library, and looking at
the catalog (http://www.crl.com/~joko/naug.html) I spot several
disks/utilities that owners of LaserWriters might be interested in.
(If there were an interest in these disks, I'm sure I could put together a
bundled package that contains all the disks and all the articles that the
disks are based on. Let me know.)
Those disk are.....
Disk: AppleWorks/LaserWriter Patch Disk?
Format: 5.25 3.5
This bootable disk patches AppleWorks so it can produce both
proportionally-spaced and fully justified output from an Apple
LaserWriter printer connected to any Apple II computer. The directions
for using this disk appear in the December 1989 issue of the
AppleWorks Forum. Developed and submitted to the NAUG Public Domain
Library by John Link.

Disk: AppleWorks/LaserWriter Startup Disk?
Format: 3.5
This 3.5-inch disk lets you produce attractive proportionally-spaced
Palatino output from AppleWorks with an Apple LaserWriter printer on
an AppleTalk network. You need the disk, a working copy of AppleWorks,
and the hardware necessary to connect your Apple IIgs or Apple IIe to
the network. Directions explaining how to use this disk appear in the
November 1989 issue of the AppleWorks Forum. Developed and submitted
to the NAUG Public Domain Library by John Link.

Disk: AppleWorks/LaserWriter Templates Disk?
Format: 5.25 3.5
Twenty-two templates that let you use AppleWorks and an Apple
LaserWriter to print a line around the outside of a standard page,
produce letterheads in various fonts with or without borders, produce
attractive labels for floppy disks, and prepare name and address
labels. Templates are annotated to help you learn PostScript.
Directions explaining how to use this disk appear in the February 1990
issue of the AppleWorks Forum. Requires Don Lancaster's LaserWriter
Utilities. Developed and submitted to the NAUG Public Domain Library
by John Link.
