Yes, there is a patch. Change byte $1BF of block $41 of the Beyond.Zork
file (or whatever it's called) from $0B to $6B.

I forget exactly what this does now, but I seem to remember there was a
tool call with the wrong number of parameters and somehow it worked with
older systems but crashed on later ones. I think it was just a cosmetic
call, so I just patched it out altogether. Never had a problem since.
