caltech www site and lynx don't get allong

     Any time I attempt to download shrinkit files from the www site
at caltech, I get an error message about "unexpected network error"
and lynx comes back to the link.  Ftp sites work fine thanks to the
modifications to ".mime.types."  When I enter "lynx -version," I get
the following.

Lynx For Arizona State University's Computing Systems Version 2.3.7
BETA
(c)1994 University of Kansas
I think that's pretty old.  Anybody else have problems with lynx?
