Problem with IIc!

   I have a IIc (version 255) that has several ' and @ marks blinking on 
the screen upon boot up and loading into Basic.System.  Using MouseDesk 
or Apple II Desktop just gives me a messed up screen and the mouse 
movements leave 'droppings' (like an echo-trail) everywhere it is moved on 
the screen.

   Looking inside, the 65C02 looks burnt (browned) as if the computer had 
never been turned off.

   Is anyone familiar with this problem?
