Re: funmac.jpg (1/1)

The following was a header on a 178K jpg, uuencoded, and spammed to
all of the newsgroups in the comp.sys.apple2 hierarchy, as well as
comp.binaries.apple2. It was halfway appropriate only in the last one;
comp.sys.apple2* is NOT a place for posting binaries. Further, it was
not crossposted, but the full contents were sent to each newsgroup
individually.

This note is being returned to the admins of the systems from which
the email return address points, as well as the admins of the system
used to post the picture. As the URL given in the rotten picture
points to a third site, this may be a forged news article (Forte Agent
makes it trivial to do so), or someone posting a third person's
posts. (The URL is http://www.hili.com/~tduda).

If you feel that this posting was inappropriate and actions should be
taken by the sysadmins, a note to the following would be appreciated:

postmaster@ios.com
root@ios.com
postmaster@execnet.com
root@execnet.com

(When mailing them, place them on one line with commas between them,
not separated as I've done here)

   Followups redirected to news.admin.net-abuse.misc.

Finally, for the benefit of the admins, here is a copy of the
headers from comp.sys.apple2.
