It works fine for me. I tried my ZIP drive briefly on the IIgs, under
GS/OS. It didn't recognise MS-DOS ZIP disks, but a Mac-formatted one
worked (except that the Finder complained about a couple of unrecognised
partitions). I was also able to partition a ZIP disk using Advanced
Disk Utility.
Chinook SCSI Utilities is able to show the partition map of a Mac or
IIgs-formatted ZIP disk, but doesn't show anything useful for a PC one.
