problems with fta demos

   Hello All, In the precious free time that I have, I have ben trying to
get some of the FTA demo programs to work cause I have heard they are
quite ogood. Well I haven;t managed to get ANY of them to work. What
happens is I download them, do all the unbinscii int, then unshrinking
onto a disk. I then change the boot slot to 5 and then re boot the
computer. For each demo I get something on the screen telling me to wait.
. So I wait. But eventually after about 1 minute, the disk stops going
around. So I try rebooting again,... and gues what it says, please check
the disk drive. Well when I FIRST start trying to run the demo, the sound
of the disk working sounds VERY like it is formatting, you know the slow
increase in speed as the head goes out(or in). So it seems like it formats
the disk. This problem seems REALLY weird. 
   Well I am using a ROM 1 and a unidisk. Any ideas???? This seems REALLY
weird. And this is ONLY for programs from FTA. I haven;t got any of there
programs to work.
