If you have a product or service of interest to Apple II users you may
want to advertise in the next edition of "The Apple II Survival Manual."
It will go to press in mid-September. This edition will be mailed to the
6,500 Apple II users we have on our own mailing list. It includes only
those people that have either purchased something for an Apple II,
requested a catalog or given some indication they are using an Apple II.
We are not "junk" mailers, but highly targeted and the response rates
are very high.
We are selling a half page ad in this book for $200 and it is in a standard
small catalog format printed on newsprint and mailed in bulk from the
middle west. We cover the country in ten days and your response will
be immediate, rise for 30 days and continue through January. We will
mail another book then and that one will be larger in number as we are
getting about 100 catalog requests monthly through and will get about
200 per month when school opens and our publicity hits. We also do a
lot of advertising on the Internet, BBS and through educational publications.
Give me a call at 805 - 681 - 9595 if you would like to reserve space in
this catalog. We have four ad spaces left, but will open another page
or two if demand requires. We want to make this a real "Apple II Survival
Manual" in every sense of the word and we want your product or service
to be there.
In addition to those we are mailing, we will distribute another 3,500 to the
50 dealers still serviing the Apple II school market, teacher conferences,
Apple II user groups, and daily requests. During this last year 19% of all
making catalog requests, from any source, bought something from us! This
an unprecedented response.
Sincerely, Adrian Vance, CEO, AV Systems, Inc.
