Well, I got my PMac 7600/120 in on Friday(something died on Wednesday and I
am now waiting for Apple to ship the parts to my tech so he can come to my
house and fix it. arggg...), and I find the PMac to be quite fast. The
heirarchial menus(such as the one NowUtilities makes, and the ones that show
what control panels I have ) are slow to open up, since the fool thing reads
the drive directory every time, instead of just loading the names into
memory(it does let you instal new cdevs and have them show up immediatly,
but i would rather have the speed). Turning off virtual memory really helps
speed things u also. So when are we getting the GSVMemoryManager? heh heh.
