It appears to be loading over the last page of the main text screen. 
That page is protected in the ProDOS System Bit Map, which "occupies 
bytes $BF58 through $BF6F in the system global page and it represents 
the status of each 256-byte page of memory from $0000 through $BFFF." 
The default value is $CF; bit 0 controls page 7, so try putting $CE in 
$BF58.
