Hi Tony,
	Unfortunately, the answer is no.  The new 816's put out by WDC 
(Western Design Center BTW) are not the long, rectangular chips that the 
GS uses.  The WDC chips must be installed on an accelerator.  On top of 
that, the accelerator itself must be modified.  There is a FAQ all about 
this maintained by Nathan Mates.  You can find a link to it on my site.
