Actually, I always type my apple computer names properly.  When referring
to the Apple II line, I use two I's.  When referring specifically to the
Apple ][ and Apple ][+, I use the square brackets (as was displayed upon
booting up a ][ or ][+, but of course the ][+ just said "APPLE ][" and not
"APPLE ][+".  It's funny, I wonder who at Apple came up with the square
brackets?).  Then there is the Apple //e and Apple //c (the cases both
show the "//" and the //c shows "Apple //c" upon boot-up, as do the
enhanced //e's).  Hmmm.  The Apple /// shows the three slashes on the
case, as well as the Apple Monitor ///.  But I would have to pull my
/// out and boot it up to see what it says on the screen.
