As recently as last sumer I was on my church's tech commettee, the teacher
representatives' primary concern was backwards compatability with the old
Apple II software on new Mac systems. Most of the teachers that I deal
with now are not nearly as attached to the old apples as they have
started seeing Macs enter the school, but the attachment to these old
"legacy systems" is remarkable.
