New group??

I don't know what this would mean, exactly, but how would people feel
about a newsgroup dedicated to new users of the Apple II. It would have
posted all the major FAQ's and a general introductory message to the new
user (performing almost the same function as many "newbie" messages at
BBSes and Genie, for instance). In addition, it would have a post about
the difference between Apples, Apple II's, Apple Macintoshes, and
Mackintosh Apples. In addition to lists of ftp and web sites dedicated to
the Apple II line, it could include binairies of basic freeware programs
(such as binscii and Shrinkit) in formats that could be easily used by the
new user. What do y'all think?
