PAL Encoder Card

Okay, I finally managed to track down a third-party PAL color encoder card
for the Apple II+. I understand that the thing goes in slot 7 and that I
have to hook it up to the auxiliary video pin on the motherboard (NOT the
four pins above it for the modulator, right?). There's a single pin on the
card for the hookup (I ASSUME that's what it's for), but hooking that up
to the auxiliary pin (there's actually aux. TWO pins, one of which produces
nothing) STILL gives me a B&W display! Twiddling with the potentiometers
produced no color either! HELP!!!
