Use  Super Serial card, set the switches to the baud rate she wishes to
connect at, plug in any (25 pin, I think) modem, and use either a terminal
like ProTerm or the SS's built in Term. prog. Voila. She can now connect
to any text-based server of her choice.

And tell her not to call a IIe lousy.
