I do, although I found the difference between 256K and 1MB cache
not vastly noticable. Usually (but not always) when returning back to
the Finder, the RamFAST will remember my list of HD partitions and they'll
quickly reappear on the desktop (avoiding the need to access the hardisk
again, which can take a few seconds). My Quantum hardrive already has 128K
of cache itself, perhaps making the RF cache less needed? It's possible
the additional cache will have a greater affect on older hardrives or
different types of SCSI devices however.

I've heard these are difficult to purchase new, 1MBx4 DRAMs are not
very popular or common these days. Sequential Systems still sells them
(for the RamFAST or their RAM GS Plus board) for about $30 a pair I
believe. I simply pulled my chips off a dead RamFAST board. :)
