Yes, an ADB mouse.

Out of curiosity, I just plugged my 4-button beast from Kensington into the GS
and it doesn't work. The cursor does follow the mouse movement, but in a very
jerky, unsmooth way.

BTW, just to tell you the whole story, there was a serie of regular ADB mice
that did not work wiuth the IIGS. It was the first or one of the first serie(s)
of semi-optical mice. (The first mice that did not outweigth the Meat Loaf.)
Later mice did work, but I had to swap it for an older mechanical mouse. (It's
so heavy there must be a small gnome sitting in there and reading my moves.)

Actually, I'd consider them rats, not mice. Anyway.
