Well, a whole lot of messages from everybody have been showing back up
in comp.sys.apple2. They're all coming from "Le Village Electronique",
which looks like a crappy ISP or BBS that just got on the internet and
has zero clue how to work with the rest of usenet. I'm going to try to
bug the admins until they get a clue; in the meantime, if you have a
_real_ newsreader (not some Netscrape), you can set up a killfile to
ignore all of them. From trn, hit ^K (control-K) to edit your
killfile, and put this line in it:
/Le Village Electronique/h:j
Never assume conspiracy when cluelessness is far more plausible,
believable, and possible.
