OK, putting large amounts of RAM in a IIgs makes perfect sense,
as GS/OS will use it. What use is a large RAM card (beyond the
standard 64K/80 Column card) in a IIe? Using it as a printer
buffer is the obvious answer, but one that I wouldn't find
personally useful.
Well, Appleworks makes use of it, and a few other programs that
I would be hard-pressed to name off-hand.
Makes a nice Ramdisk to hold files for quick loading, or so you
can single-pass copy a disk with one drive. The bigger the Ram,
the bigger disks can be copied.
Well, that's all I've got. Anyone else? 8^)
