For this to work, I think he would need to put the extracted files onto 
GS.OS formatted disks.  That means he needs to format disks on the IIGS 
first to use on the mac for the extracted files, or have PCExchange or 
the IIE card software init on the mac to let him format/see IIGS 
formatted disks there.  Otherwise, I think he ends up with HFS formatted 
disks with GS.OS files on them....which will not work on the IIGS.

A better solution may be for him to get the disks from a user group, or 
someone who has them already on disks.
