Karateka

I'm trying to play Karateka on my PowerWave(Mac) 120mhz 604 using a Mac 
emulator called "Apple //e".  I got a file called "Karateka.do" off of 
an appleII directory somewhere, changed the type/creator to DSK5/AIIe, 
and tried to use it.  I got the exact same title screen(woo hoo!) that I 
did way back when on my real Apple //e(+?).  Then I press any key to 
start a new game and the screen goes black... and stays like that for 
45+ minutes.  Haven't let it sit longer than that.

So my question is: is it crashing, or just loading?  I know emulating is 
*VERY* slow, but this is a 128k file running under a 800k application on 
a blazingly fast PowerMac.  Anyone else playing Karateka?  How long are 
the load times?
