Ram- Only Ram Express or Ram Express II

Slow down/Acceleration- yeah, it's normal.  I got my IIc Plus stock brand
new direct from Apple and it does that.. really interesting and mildly
annoying

Disk drives-

Internal Drive (3.5") - Slot 5 Drive 1
First external 3.5"- Slot 5 Drive 2
Second external 3.5"- Slot 4 Drive 1
First 5.25" (external, of course)- Slot 6 Drive 1
Second 5.25"- Slot 6 Drive 2

yes, the IIc Plus is the only Apple II computer (and maybe the only
computer around) to have a total of five floppies.. well, I guess you can
make a IIe take as many as possible with more than one disk drive
controller card.. not sure.. but yes, quite an interesting machine..

slot 1- printer port
slot 2- modem port
slot 3- built in 80 column card thingly
slot 4- extra disk drive (3.5") or a Ram Express II
slot 5- smartport's 3.5 inchers
slot 6- 5.25 inchers
slot 7- never figured this guy out....
